FT-SERMON and CH-SERMON are USB-based serial monitoring tools designed for microcontroller development and product inspection.
Both models feature a USB Type-C connector and work with the dedicated Tiny Serial Monitor application, allowing real-time communication monitoring, logging, and Lua script automation.
FT-SERMON uses reliable FTDI devices, making it suitable for industrial and long-term use.
CH-SERMON, equipped with the CH347 interface, offers a more affordable option ideal for education, evaluation, and prototyping.
The included software supports Lua scripting, enabling users to customize data decoding, color coding, and trigger-based logging freely.
All transmitted and received data can be saved as text or binary files, or in any format defined by the user’s Lua script.
Standard serial lines (TX / RX / RTS / CTS) are supported, and the color-coded display makes it easy to visualize communication activity.
With features such as conditional logging and event triggers, FT-SERMON/CH-SERMON provides a flexible, scriptable, and developer-friendly environment for serial communication debugging.
